1. About these terms

yaxtun.com and our online store are run by Yax Tun Minerals LLC ("Yax Tun," "we," "us") in Loveland, Colorado. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our shipping policy, our returns policy and our privacy policy.

2. Our pieces

• Our jade is natural stone. Color, translucency and markings vary from piece to piece, and that's part of what makes each one its own.
• Most of what we sell is one of a kind, and the photos show the piece you'll receive. On many listings, the first photo is a studio image of that same piece, and the next photos show it exactly as it was shot.
• When a listing shows several pieces together, you receive one of them.
• Measurements are taken by hand and can differ slightly. Screens also show color differently, so the piece in person may look a little different than on your screen.
• Jade is tough, but it can chip or break if dropped or knocked. Some pieces are priced lower because of a natural flaw, and they're sold with that flaw.
• Lab certification and documentation of value are available on request. Lab certification has an additional fee.

3. Prices and availability

• Prices are in US dollars unless shown in your local currency at checkout, and can change without notice.
• Many pieces are also shown at our showroom and at shows, so a piece can sell in person before your order is processed. If that happens, we'll tell you right away and refund you in full.
• If a piece is listed at the wrong price by mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, or offer it to you at the correct price.

4. Orders and payment

• Checkout and payments are handled securely by Shopify. We never see or store your full card number.
• We may limit or cancel an order if we suspect fraud, if an item isn't available, or if the order can't be shipped as placed. If we cancel, you'll be refunded in full.

5. Custom orders

• Custom work starts with your idea. We reply with a drawing or CAD and a quote.
• Carving begins once you approve the design and pay a 50% deposit. The deposit can't be refunded once carving begins. The balance is due before the piece ships.
• Because every stone is different, the finished piece may differ slightly from the drawing or CAD in color, pattern and fine detail.
• Custom pieces can't be returned, as explained in our returns policy.

6. Trade partners

Partner pricing is for approved business accounts only. Pricing, minimums and payment terms are shared once you're approved and are covered by your partner agreement.

7. Your account

If you create an account, keep your sign-in details private. You're responsible for orders placed through your account.

8. Our content

The photos, videos, text, designs and logo on this site belong to Yax Tun or the artists we work with. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written permission.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We're not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Larimer County, Colorado.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date on this page shows the latest version. Orders follow the terms in place when they were placed.
